The Race to the Cup

One round a month over ten months, played as single Stableford off your Silv Golf handicap. Your best six rounds count towards the Cup. Play more than six and only your best six count, so a bad day can be dropped.

Ties

Ties on the leaderboard are split on your next best score outside the six, then the one after that.

Grand prize

This year's Race to the Cup winner takes $400. Entry to the grand prize is $100 for the season; pay one of the admins.

Handicaps

  • You play off the lower of your GA handicap and your RC handicap, capped at 27.
  • The RC handicap is worked out from your Silv Golf scores, the way the RC committee agreed in July 2024.
  • Keep your GA number and current GA handicap up to date on your profile. Check it before each round on the GA Handicap app or golf.org.au.

On the day

  • Open the Silv Golf app on your phone and tap Score.
  • Pick your playing partners. Anyone in the group can enter scores for the whole group.
  • Tap the grey par to accept it, or + and − from there. P means you picked up.
  • At the end, sign your own card and attest a partner's card.

Photos

Add photos from any round on the Photos page or the round's own page. Keep them friendly: nothing you wouldn't show the whole group.
